Our Story
After their respective careers in finance and winemaking, Régis and Sylvain, two cousins from Marseille, bring together their passion and love for wine.
Convinced that the world has entered an insatiable quest for wines of excellence, with the ambition of elevating the wine-drinking experience, Régis and Sylvain cannot but notice a gap in the offer. The fact is that it cannot seem to quench the thirst of the growing global middle class and meet its ever-demanding expectations.
To make up that deficiency in some way, they decided to give a new face to wine production by creating their own brand at the end of 2017: Régis & Sylvain®. A brand synonymous with quality, identity of terroir, reasoned production and moderated prices. In order to achieve that, they prefer to go to the four corners of France rather than acquire a vineyard. They can thus vinify grapes and bottle their wines in regions providing them with the opportunity to meet those criteria.
Based in the heart of Marseille, the outreach of their wine trading company has already spread to four continents.

Since the beginning of the 1990s, wine production has been adapting to new consumption patterns in the search for a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable approach.
Régis and Sylvain are completely involved in this movement while keeping their own vision of things. They choose to favour the winemaker’s know-how in matters of control and exploitation of the richness provided by his terroir rather than follow regulations governing the various labels. On that basis, they make their rigorous selections of grapes and manage to keep to a minimum the use of chemical inputs during the vinification process.

He thus decided to study winegrowing and oenology. Sylvain earned his cellar master skills with Didier Simonini, owner of Château Barbanau and precursor of organic viticulture in Provence. In particular, he learned how to make balanced wines in keeping with the identity of terroir.
Thereafter, to increase his knowledge of wine trade, he moved to Sydney, Australia, where he worked as a sommelier, then as an importer of French wines for 4 years. It is the call of winemaking that brought him back to France to launch the Régis & Sylvain® project.
From a very young age, he crushed the grapes in his father’s winepress, who made a few hectolitres of wine every year for his own pleasure.
In 2017, he decided to leave the company he worked for as a foreign exchange trader to pursue his wine-inspired dreams. Today, in addition to understandably taking care of the financial part of the company, he is the manager of logistics, communication and marketing.
